Using A S Cable And Audio Cables On Dell Inspiron How Do I Get Sound To Come Through Television?
Dell inspiron 1520, vista, s cable, audio plugs(red,white). Have picture no sound (just from the computer speaker)

You can go into the Dell website and they will help you there. I have an Inspiron too, but mine does not have the capability to have external speakers. Make sure you have your serial and model numbers ready though. They have an online person to 'chat' with. Have fun!! =)

Try using a 1/8" to dual RCA adapter to the TV, from the computer's headphone jack. Sometimes this will work just fine, or sometimes it will overdrive the input. The cable is easily available, but finding an attenuator to drop the level may be difficult. Try it.
