The explosion in development that has occurred in mobile phone technology is phenomenol but it has also brought its problems. The case certainly hasn’t been proved, but clutching a phone next to your head for hours a day might not be a good idea. Some suggest that it can cause some types of cancer, which may or may not be true but most people would admit it can cause headaches and sore ears.
The answer is an earpiece and the latest sorts of ear pieces are remote – they don’t need a wire. To have this sort of ear piece, your phone needs to be Bluetooth capable.
The Bluetooth technology, which was developed with strong influence from Scandinavia, is named after Harald Bluetooth, who was king of Denmark in the late 900s. He united a fragmented Denmark and part of Norway into a single kingdom then introduced Christianity. He left a large monument, the Jelling rune stone and was killed in 986 during a battle with his son, Svend Forkbeard. He didn’t have a mobile, and could never have imagined one but someone in the development team must have heard of him and thought it was a good name.
