Are Potato Crisps Really Bad For You ?

Answer Question

Like everything else in life a little bit of anything is not necessarily a killer, but eating potato crisps on a very regular basis is not beneficial to health.
A recent medical research project came up with the warning that if we eat a packet of crisps per day we may as well drink a whole bottle of vegetable fat.  This is taken over the whole year, ie 365 packets of crisps equals one bottle of vegetable fat, which is a scary prospect.
Potato crisps also contain a lot of salt and they are packed with flaourings which although delicious offer little nutitional effect.
However, if you really love crisps then it is probably not feasible that you will be able to just give them up forever.  Start by cutting down the numbers of crisps you eat, then keep cutting down until they become a once a week treat.  Eating them in this amount should be fine for health.
