Charismatic refers to someone who possesses the quality of charisma. Charisma is a trait that is not commonly found in people. A charismatic person is one who is charming and attracts others. Often, the most popular leaders are charismatic people as they have the ability to inspire in people zeal and loyalty towards themselves.

The word charisma is of Greek origin. It means 'present' or 'godly gift'. This quality is found in particular persons and generally includes tremendous charm and a quality that can be only called as magnetic. Such individuals are usually very good with their communicative skills and have a knack of convincing or persuading people. A charismatic person is normally rather sophisticated in his approach towards people, and can influence almost anyone with his interpersonal skills.

Charismatic people often exude quiet confidence and assertiveness in their manner of speech, even though they evoke such strong emotional reactions in other people.
