    What Is The Impact Of The Iraq War On The US Military?

    The United States military forces, which have been fighting in the 'once-glorious' (as they currently perceive it to be) cause of the Iraq war since 2003 seem to have reached a saturation point – if not in terms of physical fighting then at least in the context of mental tolerance of the abuse and ill treatment that the military of the United States is inflicting on prisoners. A war of such a nature as this war, actually goes a step beyond physical and tangible victory on the battlefield. It actually registers in the core of minds, which become the ultimate determinant to shape the final decision despite of whatever happens in the physical dimension of affairs. Even from the viewpoints of the advocates of the 'apparent' winners, it does not matter which party defeats and quashes the enemy on the battlefield – what matters is the verdict of the minds, which in turn, is hugely affected by many factors. Factors that actually transform the war into a struggle of maintaining values and integrity, which if a party succeeds in, it registers itself as the eventual winners in the actual sense of the word.

    you are correct my friend. I am a soldier of about oh 3 years now and have been deployed twice for 12 and 11 months at a time. yes, in a way I am a doorkicker because I do certain missions that dignify to do so. I believe my deployment changed my tolerance levels with a lot of things back home like any sort of change in anything or someones negative attitude toward something simple. I know its a problem and I know where it came from. I may not be able to fix it but at least I do recognize it. I do not believe that there are any winners in this war. I believe this war started out as a political probe into the economy and a popularity race between repubs. and Demos. but no matter what anybody.s opinion is, we all need to remember that United States of America sticks together and we are a great and brave team that will never fail no matter what our mission is. And we never will take our boots off again because no one will get past us like 911 again with out us kick in their asses. Thank u guys for your support we do think about u guys while we are over there because it motivates us to keep going when the going gets tough. Remember, if you know a soldier, send him or her a letter no matter where they are, because a letter can uplift a soldier better than anything in the world.
