Ok time out. Those are valid points but there are millions of people tattooed. They are doing ok. I would make sure you don't have clotting issues or many allergies. If all is well go for it. Make sure the place you go is clean and reputable. Try to get a recommendation for a place and look at their work in a portfolio before you get them working on you. You will be fine just go in with your eyes open and use your better judgment. If it was that dangerous don't you think it would be illegal?

Good response! I have a very good friend who is a tattoo artist and there is a long apprenticeship involved for most artists working in reputable shops. Make sure your artists is licensed. This means they've had the proper training and know how to properly sterilize equipment and teach you how to best care for your new tattoo. :)

If you are talking with respect to the medical perspective that it is safe to have tattoos on your body or not then the answer is no. With respect to the medical perspective, it is very dangerous to have your body tattooed. The main reason for the danger in the tattooing the body is that tattooing requires breaking the barriers of skin. Since the tattooing equipment make contact with blood and the fluid in the body, any germs with the tattooing equipment can enter the body which can cause very lethal diseases.

This is so dangerous that it can be the cause of hepatitis and HIV. Infections are commonly observed to the person having their body tattooed. Allergic reactions have also seen to the person having their bodies tattooed. However, allergic reactions are mostly seen to the people using red and green inks in their tattoos.

The ink used in the making of tattoos can also cause the different diseases. However, this risk can be minimized by using the standard and approved for health ink. In short, the tattooing the body is a very dangerous thing if you consider the health precautions. The tattooing shall be avoided if one does not have a certain reason for the tattooing.

I have had tattoos for over 30 years and I'm a tattoist in N.C. And if you have a allergy to shell fish I would not get a tattoo, some gray washes have a squid base. In 30 years of tattooing I have seen this reaction twice.
