    Mobile phones basically are sophisticated two-way radios which usually apply radio frequency signals to broadcast as well as receive voice and data. When you make or receive calls your cell phone cell phone corresponds with a network of low powered radio transceivers which are known as base stations.

    Every base station covers a small geographic region better known as a "cell", and these cells are interlinked to form a cellular network. A standard base station comprises of antennas and transmission dishes which are linked to an equipment cabin via electrical cables.  

    The base station is accountable for gathering phone signals and passing them on again. A mobile phone may correspond with a number of diverse base station adjust to the minimum power level which is necessary to uphold a quality cell.
