Yes, but not everything that Prime Minister Blair stands for, I feel that he and his government have done some great work for the UK over the past ten years. However, I feel that his involvement in the illegal invasion of Iraq was morally, ethically and criminally wrong.

Things must be difficult for you because your son clearly understands what is required of serving military personnel but no one actually wants to go to war. At present, Blair and Bush have assisted the social collapse of Iraq and are currently trying to find a way to remove their troops without bringing further shame on their great but blinkered nation.

If your son is happy in the armed forces, then you must support him but of course quietly, you will be worried about him, I think the important thing is that he is happy and active and a strong and upright citizen, willing to do his bit for Queen and Country, I imagine that there is some pride in that for you too.

Things could be worse, we could have George W. Bush for a President.
