Why Don't Spanish Speaking TV Stations Provide English Subtitles Or SAP?

Why is it that virtually everything is bi-lingual in the United States (English/Spanish) Even television is broadcast with SAP (separate audio program) in Spanish. Yet, the Spanish language stations don't SAP in English. Sometimes I'd love to watch, and know what their talking about. Fair? I think not.

I agree. I think we non-spanish speakers may learn a word or two if that was available.
Sorry this is not an answer, but I thought it was a great question.

It is usually because, wouldn't it be annoying if all our stations had Spanish subtitles. So all their doing is making a station for people that can't speak English well!
