What Is The Scope Of Micro Financing In Developing Countries?

There is a great scope of micro-financing in developing countries. With the help of micro-financing, thousands of unemployed and poor people are now running their own small scale business. I used to work for an NGO in Pakistan. One of the objectives of the NGO was to microfinance people in its areas of operation. I visited the regional office of Mardan and the nearby small towns and villages. Micro-financing had done wonders to those people. Most of the women now had sewing machines and ran their own stitching business. The men usually owned shops or had agricultural machinery due to this financing.
