First of all we should understand what polyester resin is. The term 'polyester resin' is attributed to a kind of resin that is thermosetting and that makes it fixed at a place once not to get melted again. Primarily this kind of resin is used in laminating and reinforcing.

So if you want to use the kind of resin to fix fibreglass you will have to buy a pack and then apply it on the fibreglass. One of the products that is considered as the prime one and is especially made for marine purpose is the brand from the 'Evercoat Company' which is considered as of premium quality.

You can use it on hulls, cabins and decks and it can also be used for the surface of boat. It resists impact and also protect against dry rot. You just need to apply it to make any kind of repairing with it.
