How To Write A It Was Nice To Meet You Note?

It would make a difference on how the note is worded depending on the circumstances:  If it was the meting of a possible employer or if was the meeting of a new friend.  I will attempt both.  Either way, the note should be short and to the point.

Dear  Sue,
I am glad that we had the opportunity to spend some time together last night.  I enjoyed our discussion (date) and sincerely hope that we can get together again in the near future.  I look forward to spending much more time with you and hope you feel the same.
