    4x2 + 6x + 1 = 0

    The general equation of a quadratic equation is aX2 + bX + c= 0. The formula for discriminant is;

    D= b2- 4ac

    In the given equation;

    a=4

    b=6

    c=1

    So, the discriminant is;

    D= 62-4*4*1
