Do I Have To Pay Child Support If There Is No Court Order?

Answer Question

If there is no court order, legally you do not have to pay her anything. Morally, if you get a dna test performed to make sure it is your child, you should, as a man, support tour child financially, emotionally and physically. That is the reason they set up child support because if you do not take care of your child, you will be forced to by the courts.

I've been paying her child support for over two months. We are not divorced. She kicked me out and i started paying support for my two boys. I am unemployed and the first week was a waiting week. So i don't get a check. My wife said i still have to pay that week. Is that true?
