Where Is Dartmouth College?

Dartmouth College is a well known private, coeducational university based in Hanover, New Hampshire, America. It is an associate of the Ivy League and is said to be one of the nine colonial colleges which were established prior to the American Revolution.

Established in the year 1769 by Eleazar Wheelock, mainly with finances collected by a Native American preacher Samson Occom, it is the ninth oldest college in America and the seventh-richest with regard to funds per student. Apart from the liberal arts undergraduate program, the college also has medical, engineering and business courses along with twenty-one other graduate programs offered in the field of arts and science.    

In the year 2005 Booz Allen Hamilton elected Dartmouth College as one of the "Word's Ten Most Enduring Institutions".
