What type of Pocket pc ? Operating system ? What version widow  Media player ?
the reason I ask is that the version of w.m.p.[Media player]works best with o/s it was designed for.Version 7.00,8.00 work best with Win98,ME [Mellian Edition] Downloading an extension or a "skin" file WILL NOT WORK with the wrong version.

Did you 'boot up' after you installed the file? Did you go to 'Tools' on the menu bar to change the skin.?

The file "psshutxp" has to have an extension [filename.exe,filename.com, etc, etc] Sometimes you have to copy the file inside the "Win_media" directary and the program will find it when you   go to "tools" in the menu bar.
    hope that this helps you!!
