    Firstly, you have to put your mind to getting rid of your pot belly. It is true what they say, you are what you eat. Tell yourself that you are determined to get that waistline back no matter what, and remind yourself of this assertion every day.

    You don't necessarily have to undertake a fitness regime to improve your belly, although a few sets of stomach crunches wouldn't hurt. But go easy on the exercise, don't make it too strenuous.

    Before starting on your regime, take measurements of your waistline and your hips. Commit to a program spanning around three months. Keep a record of what you eat and what kind of exercise you do. Eat nutritious foods like fruits etc and avoid fatty substances, especially beer since you have a pot belly already.
