What Hormone Does The Ovary Produce In Response To Ovulation?

Ovulation is the procedure in the menstruation cycle through which a fully grown ovarian follicle bursts and releases an ovum, alternatively called as an egg or a female gamete which is a participant in the process of reproduction. The ovulation procedure is regulated by the hypothalamus as well as the emission of hormones, namely LH (Luteinizing Hormone) and FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone).

In the pre ovulatory stage of the menstruation cycle, the ovarian follicle goes through a succession of alterations know as cumulus expansion, which is roused by the emission of FSH. Following this, a cavity referred to as the stigma gets structured in the follicle, and the ovum departs from the follicle with the help of the hole. The liberation of the ovum is a result of a spike in the quantity of FSH and LH which is emitted.
