The V I N, Vehicle Identification Number, is a 17 digit number that tells you your cars vitals, like its year, engine size, where it was built, and more. All newer cars and trucks have the V I N in clear view just under the windshield, on the dash, in front of the driver.

The VIN stand for Vehicle Identification Number, it's 13 or 17 digit code of numbers depending on the year and letters which is unique to each vehicle making it able to be differentiated from all other vehicles it's the I.D. Used before the vehicle is sold and a license plate is assigned by the DMV.
