What Is Noise Pollution?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Noise pollution all the written definition implies environmental noise that is harmful, annoying, or distracting up to and including physical symptons.

Noise pollution can be a matter of perspective .... Loud rock music may appeal to those at the concert to hear the band but those reporting on the concert might find the ringing in their ears after the concert the after affects from the noise.  Extended periods of exposure to this level of noise can cause hearing loss or reduced audible ranges.

Construction noise such as jack hammers and machinery in factories can be distracting in not down right annoying when one is attempting to study, talk on the phone, or taking and exam for instance.
