How Does Heat Or Cold Affect Your Sleep?

Every one of us has our own preferences when it comes to sleeping. I am always cold, my husband always too hot. I like the window open with a breeze blowing across me in the summer, he wants it closed. If your bedroom does not suit the environment, that can interfere with your sleep.
If you wake up at night feeling hot and sweaty, then you can get a small fan to sit on a dresser to make you more comfortable. A ceiling fan works well, too. If you wake up cold the easiest thing is to add another blanket. Or you could put on a warmer pair of pjs.
The biggest problem occurs when you and your sleeping partner totally differ in what temperature feels good at night. Some couples resolve this problem by sleeping in different rooms, and then saving a third bedroom for romance. Sometimes that is the only way that a couple can preserve the relationship!
