Yes , def..my grandfather has it and he doesn't always get the rash..He's also had it for about 5 years..if this is your first time and you think you may have it..def go and see a doctor and they should be able to def tell you what it is..good luck

I FRIST GOT THE SHINGLES ABOUT 16 MONTHS AGO FOR SURE , BUT I HAVE HAD A LOT OF PAIN AND BURINING FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS AND NO DR. CAN FIND THE PROBLEM. AFTER THEY SAID I HAD SHINGLES , I WAS WONDREING IF THAT COULD BE THE REASION FOR THE OTHER PAIN? IT IS ON THE SAME SIDE . THANKS SO MUCH
