What Is The Right Age To Wean A Fawn?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is okay and normal to wean your fawn at 12 weeks of age. However, doing this should be a long process. It should not be done overnight, and instead take a few weeks. You must slowly introduce solids, starting with only a few small portions and mostly bottle feeding and slowly increase the solids and decrease the bottle until it is no longer used. It is something you definately want to make sure you read on before doing.
