Who Fought In The First World War?

    The First World War was the first global conflict of it's scale and was purported to be the war to end all wars and it was fought between the global powers of that time namely the German Empire, Russian Empire, British Empire, Austro-Hungary empire and the Ottoman empire. It was fought between the period of 1914 to 1918. It saw the demise of several imperial powers around that time and the death of colonialism.

      WWI was fought between the Central Powers, consisting of Austria Hungary, Germany, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria, and the Allied Powers, consisting of the UK, France, Russia, the US, Serbia, Belgium, Romania, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
