Where Did The Bible Come From?

There are different versions of answer to this question. Various religions have different concepts about the Bible. For example, Christians believe that the Bible is a book revealed by God unto various prophets at different times in history. Till this point both the Muslims and the Christians agree upon the fact that God is the real creator of this book. However, Muslims claim that the Bible that exists nowadays is not the original one that was revealed by God.

It has been changed by various people during different phases of history.
Moreover, Muslims claim that the later part of the Bible i.e. the New Testament is not revealed unto various prophets but unto only one Prophet i.e. Jesus Christ himself and the Old Testament has been revealed unto Moses. But both of these Testaments do not exist in their original form.

Jews have an altogether a different concept about the New Testament. They claim that it is neither revealed by God nor are those people Prophets in whom the Christians believe. As far as the first part of the Bible is concerned, i.e. the Old Testament or the Torah, they also have the same belief as that of Muslims and Christians.
