How Do You Laminate?

There are a few steps that you will have to take to laminate anything and here we are going to describe the ways by which you can laminate a countertop.
      
The process can be finished in four steps and it includes right from preparing the surface, cutting the laminated plastic, apply them and also to finish the job. The first step is to get the surface very smooth so that it has no raised spot on it. After the process you can cut the plastic that is to be laminated and for the purpose you can use the circular saw. But one precaution is important before cutting and it is that you should cut it from the back surface, not the one which is on front. You should also cut it a bit oversized so that you have the choice to trim it.
      
When you are done with the cutting you should rub the surface that is to be laminated. The rubbing can be performed with the help of sand paper and after rubbing you should apply either epoxy adhesive or contact cement on the surface. After this process you can apply the laminated sheet on the surface and then can cut what is left over.
