Nagasaki is the largest town of Nagasaki Prefecture in Japan. It is situated on the south-western coast of Kyūshū, the southernmost of the four major Japanese islands. Nagasaki is situated at the beginning of a long bay which is the best natural harbor on the island of Kyūshū. The city which is located on a small plain close to the ending of the bay is very famous as a commercial and residential area. This city is formed where two rivers are divided by a mountain.
The main attractions here are Oura Church, Urakami Cathedral, Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, Nagasaki Peace Park, Dutch Slope, Higashi-Yamate Jusanban Mansion, Confucius Shrine, Glover Garden, Dejima Museum of History, Kofuku-ji, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown in Japanese, Mount Inasa, Sofukuji/Sofuku Temple, Suwa Shrine and Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum.
