4. What Are Levels Of RAID 0, 1, 5? Which One Is Better & Why?

    RAID 0 -  Multiple physical drives one logical drive Increases performance and space.RAID 1 - Mirroring copy the entire data to another disk as it is. Only usefull when an HDD fails unless it is waste of money and HDD spaceRAID 5  - The best in RAID tech, coz it gives redundacy , fault tolarence, performance and all which other levels can give.

    Actually, raid 1 has many uses. Most people can't afford the equipment to run raid 5, and it's not very portable, but you can use it on your home machine to get some security in the event of a drive failure. It can also be used in large arrays where all data is stored on raid 5 but the OS doesn't need to reside on a raid 5 array and use 3 disks when you can mirror the os and only use 2...leaving the 3rd drive to be used as a hot spare, or configured into the array as additional storage. ;)
