The first trick is to remove the battery from its hiding place next to the drivers tire.
Next it is best to use a proper tool, like a battery terminal puller to remove the terminal/clamp. Maybe try some WD-40, do NOT apply flame or heat as it will damage the battery and could make the battery explode.
Use puller tool, wiggle a bit, it should come out.
