Puppies normally have a voracious appetite.  It is not normal to be hand feeding an 8 week old puppy.  There is a reason--an underlying disease that is most likely causing the anorexia.  Puppies do not have a fully developed immune system and are very fragile.  They are also sensitive to dehydration, hypoglycemia, and hypothermia.  Do not wait 2 weeks to have this puppy examined and diagnosed.

I would cook and feed him what he will eat, as long as you get him to eat something.  Call your vet as well and tell them what is going on and see what they recommend.  Good-Luck

To get your dog or puppy to eat, put a little bit of milk in with his food and watch him eat. After a whle decrease the amount of milk and soon he will eat his food without milk.

Put an egg on his food to soften it up.  He'll eat it. Keep an eye on his stomach though.  If he gets bloated get him to the vet.  He may have a blockage.

You might have to feed him by hand.  One piece at a time.  It also helps to soak with a lot of water till the food is almost mush.  You will have to do this approx 1 week till the pup figures it out.
