White People Deserve The Same Rights As Blacks. What Is Your Opinion?

My point exactly it is as if there are people of white and black origin that want to keep driving at the idea of racism. It will not go away but I do think that it is better and we as a country have made great strides into changing the cultural thinking about races being different. I know I truly see all as being equal. It doesn't matter your skin color or how much or little money you have. We all still take a crap in the toilet just as anyone else does. So why should the classes and skin color matter. There is no one on earth that is any better than anyone else. We are all equal.

I don't see a difference but from what dogdeeva says they are discriminated against just because they are black. I am tired of tip toeing around thinking that someone is going to think I'm a racist because I am a white christian male. It is people like the NAACP and Al sharpton jesse jackson and community activists they still encourage this type of thinking. I think that generation x has made alot of strides in putting racism behind the unfourtante part is we will never get rid of it on either side of the races.

It's true; there will always be racism. I am a white christian woman and I am discriminated against just as much as the next race, religion, or gender. The difference between me and the others is I DON'T SIT ON THE PITY POTTY CRYING ABOUT IT! Build a bridge and get over it people; not everyone is going to treat you like a God...... So we stole the land from the Indians and we used African Americans as slaves and blah blah blah. It's not that I don't feel bad about what my ancestors did but I can't possibly compensate everyone for it ~ especially since I wasn't even friggin ALIVE when all this crap took place. I'm not jumping out of my skin to make anyone feel special - I treat everyone the same (well, except for the people that refuse to speak English - lol) and that isn't going to change. I am currently signing petitions and writing letters to superior courts in order to free an innocent African American man from death row in Texas. If the black community would take a look around they would realize how many whites really don't see color and that is all that should matter.

I'm intrigued what president? You are right in your answer we all have the right to be respected no doubt about that. I don't understand the election thing.
