How Do I Kick Out A Roommate That's Not On My Lease Who Won't Leave Quickly In Las Vegas And Do I Have To Give Her 30 Days Notice?

My roommate who's not on my lease has been staying with me for almost 5 months now. She keeps sneaking in men and letting them stay over all the time. I've asked her to leave but she wont. What can I do?

She is illegal at your residence. You don't need to give her 30 days notice as she is not bound by any contract. Your landlord can kick her out legally. You have to talk to him to give her a notice for staying illegally.

Your landlord could legally kick her out because she's not on the lease. But you could also get in trouble for letting her live there without putting her on the lease.

Unfortunately anj, zuhail is incorrect again and if you listen to him, you'll be getting wrong information. Your friend has established residency in your apartment, and weather this person has a lease or not, if he or she wants to put up a fuss, and fight it, you will have to take them to court to get them removed. I'm not saying its right, and your friend should move on their own, however as i said, once you allow someone occupancy in your house or apartment, this is establishing residency, and you have to go through the courts if they wont move.
