 Do You Still Have To Pay Rent When Problem Is Not Taken Care Of In A Timly Matter
We have a sewer problem for a month and it still isn't fixed and we would like to know if we still have to pay rent

 Yes you can make delay to pay rent. The repair is responsibility of the landlord and you can talk to him and put pressure on him.

You must write a letter complaining the problem and the details of the problem. Also give the details in a separate paragraph about what danger these problems are causing to you and your family.
