How Do You Get To Sleep At Night?
I take quit a few tranquilizers but I do not sleep,I am wondering if it is insomnia,but my Dr. Tells me to not worry,when I get tired enough I will sleep,but I don't. What do I need to do to get my 8?

If you can tolerate dairy products then you could try drinking a small cup of warm milk before you go to bed. Some sources think that the amino acid it contains, called tryptophan, is converted by the body to melatonin and serotonin, both of which are believed to induce sleep. Other sources think that the effect is really more psychological than physical (evoking memories of home and childhood). I don't usually have problems falling asleep as I do a lot of exercise, but if I'm ever feeling too lively to sleep I drink warm milk and I find it effective. I have no idea whether the milk has a physical or psychological effect, but to be honest I really don't mind as long as I get to fall into a nice peaceful sleep!
I have a daily routine, after having my supper, i go for a walk for about 30 - 45 min. That's it. This will definitely help you my friend

I usually walk 2hrs.a day for excercise,and that is brisk,I have been like for three months now,I hope the walking helps.Thanks.L.
