It realized it is your dog. It's motor wore out.you forgot to wind it today.it's trying to figure out how to escape and join the other escaped wagging tails.someone stepped on it. : ). It could have ate something that disagreed with it. In other words if the dog doesn't improve it's disposition in a day or two take it to a vet and have it checked out.
