Are Gel Nails Acceptable In Health Care Setting?
Not sure what's to explain... trying to get a logical answer to a burning question.

Any kind of fake nails are prohibited in the health care industry. That is a JACHO standard set because of all the bacteria that will be under them. They have that rule to keep patients safe for the duration of their stay. Your natural nails should not be longer than the tips of your fingers for the same reason. picture yourself or a loved one catching a nonsensical disease because somebody thought pretty nails were more important than you and your health. Does that make sense to you??
Personally my own priority are the patients I come in contact with, I would feel horrible if I ever compromised another persons health just because I wanted long/pretty nails.
