What Does Juniper Mean?

    Junipers are coniferous plants. They belongs to the genus Juniperus of the cypress family Cupressaceae. They are approximately 50-67 species of juniper. It is found in the northern hemisphere, from the Arctic, south to tropical Africa in the Old World, and to the mountains of Central America in the New World. The tall trees generally grow up to 20-40 m tall. They generally have either needle-like and/or scale-like leaves. These plants are monoecious or dioecious. Some of the species have "berries" are generally red-brown or orange but in most they are blue.

    Junipers are generally two different types of leaves are seedlings and have some kind of twigs, which have a needle-like leaves 5-25 mm long.
