Hmm... Your question is a little vague, so I'll try to cover all the bases:

The short, easy answer, is that assuming they are movies that you are downloading from the internet, they are stored on your hard disk drive... I know, this sounds pretty obvious, but like I said your question was pretty vague...

Now, if what you mean is 'Where is my computer storing movies that I download?', then you need to check your settings in your browser (assuming you are downloading them through your browser, and not some P2P program like Limewire, or Shareaza), and see where it is saving files to.

If what you meant was 'Where does my computer store STREAMING videos that I download to watch (like on YouTube, or SurfTheChannel)?', then THAT answer is a lot more complicated. They are stored as VERY temporary files on your hard drive under basically a form of virtual memory (this is a part of your hard drive that your computer sets aside to use like an expansion of your regular memory) and it does not generally keep anything that is saved there once the current use if it is done... In fact, because of this very issue, programs that help you download videos like these often require that you refresh the page once you launch them, because your operating system will not allow a new use for those files beyond what was using them when they were downloaded (your browser), and so those programs (I like Orbit Downloader) have to have you re-download them while they are running, so they can capture the data as it is streaming.

I hope I've covered what you wanted to know, and that you have a great day!
