Don;t ignore him, just be professional and friendly. She isn't forced do anything that she doesn't wanna do. Never let yourself be controlled because of somebody else is there! This can be hard not to do and must admit to you I have been in that very same akward situation. Yet, being friendly and professional will put things back on the same playing field that you are there for. Remember character is something we have to work at and doesn't easily. See the problem is that my friend doesn't even want to be friends with him and i can honestly say that i don't blame her. He was a complete jerk and can be really obnoxious, but we can't seem to find a way to avoid him because he always finds a way to be there in her way.
