Why Did Judah Change Their Name To Palestine?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In A.D. 132 the Jews revolted against the Romans. Three years years later, after the Romans put down the revolt, they forbade the the Jews to live or even visit Jerusalem. They gave Judah the name of Palestine. The name refers to the Philistines, whom the Israelites conquered centuries before.
