Unix aimed its start while a researchers' group from AT&T Bell Laboratories, General Electric, and the Massachusetts Institute of technology worked mutually under the "Multiplexed Information Computing System (MULTICS)", assignment in 1968.           UNIX was invented in the year 1969 by a computer scientist Ken Thompson at Bell Laboratories. Ken was a researcher on Multics project which was not perfect. The first discussion on the matter was heard ten years earlier by John McCarthy, who invented Lisp language.           The earlier times haring device that used to print only the upper-case and big rolls of paper were known as ASR-33. ASR-33 was the parent of the UNIX. ASR-33 was slow and noisy device.
