    The lush community of Boise is both the bustling capital of Idaho and a pleasant small town. Rich in history, the town has museums and unique sites. The river running through the center of town a variety of urban parks and rest areas. Boise is a very likable city with a variety of outdoor recreation. Here are 5 the top 5 things to do.
    Bogus Basin Mountain Resort – This ski resort is both a winter and summer recreation area. In the winter, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snow tubing and snow boarding are available to outdoor adventurers. There is even a large amount of night skiing terrain. In the summer, disc golf, hiking, backpacking and mountain biking.
    Boise River Greenbelt – This 20-mile trail follows the Boise River from Discovery State Park to the Lucky Peak Dam. As it meanders through town it passes through downtown, various parks and restaurants. Native wildlife and verdant scenery is abundant. Joggers, walkers, inline skaters and cyclists can use most all of this paved trail.
    Discovery Center of Idaho – This science center is a laboratory of education and exploration. This museum is filled with hands-on exhibits and interactive displays. Over 40 exhibits answer questions and explore the science behind how machines work.
    World Center for Birds of Prey – This center is known throughout the world for its conservation efforts with rare species. It has worked to reestablish Peregrine falcons in this county. They are now working with other species including falcons, vultures, eagles and the rare California condor.
    Downtown Boise – The cultural center of the city is found here. It is home to historic buildings filled with shops, boutiques, street cafes, restaurants, entertainment and nightlife. All of this is in a pleasant and relaxed environment.
