Philosophy is the scientific study of facts, which are distinctive to philosophy just as biology is the study of facts, which are distinctive to biology. Philosophy is knowledge learned from the scientific study of known truth, which leads to greater truth. The nature of philosophy differs from the nature of physical, chemical or mathematical subject matter. Yet, the search for knowledge demands the logic of scientific
methodology to acquire truth and resolve problems.
Philosophy can be defined as a search for knowledge regarding the nature of human behavior, morals, attitudes, and beliefs. It is a theory or analysis of why people act as they act, think as they think and believe as they believe. Philosophy is knowledge acquired through the wisdom, found in scientific analysis based on ethics, logic, epistemology and metaphysics. It is not moralizing, repetitious truisms or
or masterfully philosophizing over an unproven system of philosophy based upon false conclusions.
