Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A report is generally a truthful essay/paragaph  written about some incident, program, film or a drama.
A reporter, who is assigned this specific job of reporting the incident etc. does  it. Mostly, indirect speech is used in a REPORTe.g.,
In vashi, New Mumbai, a fanatastic exhibition was inaugurated. It deals with Nature Cure Products and Alternative Therapies. The exhibition shall be open for general public from tomorrow i.e.18th February,2007 till 22nd February,2007.
On the other hand,a SCRIPT is generally written in the dialouge form. Ths, it uses direct speech. It can be for a film, drama or a street play.e.g.

    Ram:"Brother, Who are you?"
Hanumaan: "I am one of the princes of the monkey kingdom"
    Ram: "What brings you here?"
Hanumaan:"Sir, I have come here to serve my master, my God, Shri Ram!"
A script also gives details of the ambience, possibly also the furniture or location.
