It is obtained from the word Ingleswod. Inglewood means 'Wood of the Angels'. The word is formed of two words: Ingle and wood. This word was also written as angel and later it was modifired as engle or enghle. This word engle means anel or sweet heart. The Inglewood in England is a dairy farm land and small woodland areas are scattered between Carlisle and Penrith.

    Inglewood is a city in United States of America in the Los Angeles County. There are others places by the name Inglewood in Calgary (Alberta in Canada), New Zealand, Queensland (Australia), Western Auatralia, Ontario (Canada).
