This Question Needs Answering:
We Have Our First Chickens, They Are 7 Weeks Old. When And How Can We Let Them Out Into The Yard Without Losing Them? We Are On 10 Acres, 3 Acres Groomed, The Rest Woods.
I am concerned that if I let our chickens out to roam and eat grass and bugs we will not be able to get them back into their coop and run. We have woods nearby and coyotes and other wildlife that would love to eat them, so do not want them out for more than about 4 hours a day. Will they "naturally go back to their coop or should I not let them out given the circumstances?

I think your biggest concern is not if your chickens are going to runaway or return to their coup.  It sounds like you might have a lot of natural predators nearby that could prey on young chickens.  I would probably not risk letting them free range give the circumstances.
