What Is The Cure For Bruxism? (Grinding Teeth When You Sleep?)

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Bruxism if left untreated can cause you many problems. Not only could you lose your teeth, but also you can mess up your jaw muscles and get some major headaches and even earaches.
Often people try in vain for a long time to find the cause of these earaches.

When you have this problem, your bite is out of balance. Your muscles work overtime to restore the proper bite. Jaw muscles are so powerful and strong. This constant grinding can actually fracture teeth or break your jawbone. Then you will know real pain.

The treatment is quite simple. There are several oral applications a dentist can give you that prevent the grinding. Then too, there are several behaviour changes that help the tongue, lips, and teeth stay in a more natural and comfortable position when you sleep.

Many people, who are teeth grinders at night, also bite their fingernails, and the ends off of pencils by day. Some even nibble off the ends of their hair. Although no on knows why, more women have Brusxism then men.

A night guard is a good idea to ware while until you stop grinding your teeth. However, even with a night guard you will still damage your jaw and can get TMJ.

There are ways to stop teeth grinding all togethor and I highly Reccommend www.cureforbruxism.com for this. I started only a few weeks ago and I have noticed a great improvement.
