Large, visible pores tend to be either caused by genetics or age. It is no shock that as we age our skin loses its elasticity, and when that happens, the pores expand. There are some things you can do to cover up their appearance, but generally you cannot eliminate the problem altogether.
One thing you can do to reduce their appearance is exfoliate. Many experts tend to recommend exfoliating and using a product which contains salicylic acid. Also, it is always better to use a water soluble cleanser rather than an oil soluble one because the oil tends to stick into the pores and that can cause problems and cause them to be even more visible than what they are now.
Make up is also another way you can cover them up. Gels and tinted creams tend to even out their appearance and instead of using a liquid foundation, use a cream or powder one instead. So, whilst it is not possible to eliminate the problem completely, it is possible to hide it!
