    My Daughter Was Born On 11/23/07, Does She Need A Social Security # To Receive Child Tax Benefits For This Year?

    I don't know if i should scramble to get a ss Card for my daughter

    In the UK you will automatically get child tax credits here, and the parent who is on social security themselves claims for the child. Children here are allowed to claim s.s. Until they leave full time education.
