    Why Do Hamsters Have To Eat Their Own Feces?

    I would like to find out why hamsters eat their own feces as I can't find the information that I really need when I type this question out on a search engine.

    It is thought that they do this to recover the vitamins B and K that are otherwise lost. Rabbits do it too, and some other small animals too, I think.
